Southeastern Guide Dogs
Our meeting will be Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. at the Macaroni Grill in Boca Raton (2004 NW Executive Ctr. Dr, Boca Raton, FL 33431, 561-997-5492 - where Military Trail meets the Glades Road overpass, next to Houston's).
The charity we are supporting is Southeastern Guide Dogs, "an internationally accredited guide dog school headquartered in Palmetto, Florida and the only guide dog school in the Southeastern United States. Programs include Paws for Independence for blind and visually impaired individuals, Paws for Patriots for blind and visually impaired veterans, and Gifted Canines, which places dogs into narcotic or arson detection, search and rescue, therapy and other specialized careers."
